To launch Oat Cult’s Tiramisù-flavoured overnight oats, Thingy & Thingy® partnered with Mindseye to create a two-minute-long film, quite literally reclaiming its cult status reputation. Directed by Mike Upson, the campaign uses folk horror and absurdity to let viewers know just how good its new oat flavour is.
Set in Friuli, Italy, in 1539, the grainy black-and-white film sees a group of villagers sacrifice the things they love in exchange for coffee-and-chocolate overnight oats which are spewed out at the faces of an increasingly devoted crowd.

David Reviews: "gloriously well-made. It has the timbre of a continental movie from the 1960s set in mediaeval times [...] Director Upson has tuned into its sensibilities with the precision of an enthusiast."
